Under the Banner

Last night after my wife and I started a few of the quests in Evendim we decided to hit the fields and give farming a try again. We had a great time. The new changes make it enjoyable and desirable.

My Lore Master is a Yeoman. I was able to grow and cook up some tasty things that allowed us to have some pretty nice buffs while we quested. My wife is a scholar. Before the expansion she did not find much joy in farming, however half way through her 4th field of blueberries I heard her say that she enjoyed this and could not wait for me to make the Blueberry muffins. That one comment brought a smile to my face and told me that Turbine is getting it right.

As we finished our couple of hours farming and cooking, we headed back out. I prompted her to turn on her new crop tracker and before long I was nearly nocked out of my chair when I heard a squeal of glee from her computer area. “I can track Woad Plants!, I can track Woad!” No more passing up the ingredients for the dye’s she can make.

Yep. Turbine, good job.
